"I just tried starting my '96 Glastron after sitting for several months.

Engine will crank, but won't start. As soon as the key is turned on, the electric fuel pumps do not kick on to pressurize the system.

I don't have a wiring diagram to see what all energizes as the key is turned on to energize the pumps. Any suggestions on fuses / circuit breakers / relays to check on first? I don't see any traditional looking fuses in the engine bay, only circuit breakers and relays and the circuit breakers all seem to have voltage where you would expect. I'm not sure how to check the relays or which even have anything to do with powering the fuel system.

Any help or suggestions is appreciated."

"Its not a given that fuel pump runs soonest you turn key. On some engines, fuel pump does not run until engine cranks long enough to build oil pressure."

"Thanks for the feedback. I checked the fuel line between the pump and the TBI and it has zero pressure and I've cranked the engine enough to build some oil pressure. But I thought there was some sort of 'zero oil pressure' sensor at start up that allowed the fule pump to pressurize the fuel rail. Once the engine fires, then if oil pressure falls to zero, the fuel pump should shut down."

"Depending on how the engine is wired...
Lacking the shop manual with that particular engine's wiring, the time honored way:

Look at the fuel pump. There should be two wires on it. One is most likely black and goes to ground, the other (possibly purple or purple/yellow) is the feed to the pump. This second wire should have +12 (more or less) on it when cranking... if not, follow it back and find where it goes and why there isn't any "juice"...
Check the black wire and make sure its a solid connection to ground.
While its nice to have a wiring diagram, you can "debug" the system without one... its just very tedious.

Some systems are fairly primative. By and large, there isn't a zero oil pressure sensor that furnishes power to the fuel pump at start, sometimes its just a connection to the starter. Not all systems have a oil pressure cut off switch either. Sorry, I don't have access to the manual for this engine. Perhaps someone else on this site does."
