1996 OX66 250 hp not using oil

I have a 1996 OX66 250hp that isn't using any oil? The tank on the engine is full and the reserve tank was marked with a sharpie to see if the level was dropping and it hasn't moved after 3 hrs of running. I premixed some oil with the gas to ensure that motors were using oil (port is using oil - stbd isn't: the boat is a recent purchase after sitting on a lot for a couple of years) Any ideas? I have not taken any oil lines off yet.

"If you aren't using any oil those engines would seize very quickly. The level in the onboard tank is kept the same because the float activates the pump. On engines this old you should clean the entire oil feed systems, including filters & check valves, with diesel or kerosene. Mix a batch of premix in a 3-gal tank, disconnect the fuel line at the primer bulb and connect the 3-gal tank. Disconnect the oil line going into the VST, fire 'er up and run the oil into a coffee can to clean out any solvent."

thank you for the input and the links. I will remove the tank and lines/filters tomorrow and see if anything is clogged.

that is way way wrong and you will damage the o2 sensor!!!

the o2 sensor has nothing to do with the oil injection

you have a on boat sensor that tells you when your transferring

you have a sensor on the motor to tell you when your low on oil and to tell the boat tank to pump

Both Engines using oil now - b

Both Engines using oil now - but smoking like chimneys. They will be receiving oil premixed in the fuel for another 50 gallons (about 50:1) or so and then back to letting the engines do all the mixing. Hopefully nothing gets too gummed up.
