1996 Ocean Pro Vacuum Switch Problem

Howdy all,
I have a 96 150 Ocean Pro that I was having trouble with running. I replaced the anti-syphon valve, all fuel lines, fuel filter, primer bulb, in line fuel filter etc. I still couldn't get it to go, so I took it to the shop....turn out I wasn't getting a spark so they put on a new power pak. Now it fires right up and runs great, but all of the sudden out of no where I have a vacuum issue. At 4000 RPM's I am getting a check engine and my bulb is getting sucked flat. I personally think the guy mechaninc did something because in 3 years I have never had this problem, but that being said anyone have any suggestions to check...ie loose screws/bad diaphram/switch etc?

Thanks in advance for any help!

If the bulb goes " flat " then there is a problem in the bulb / fuel line from bulb to tank / pick-up in the tank or strainer in the tank.----------Likely nothing wrong with your motor !.

I tried switching bulbs and it still did the same thing. The strainer in the tank looks good with no junk or build up on it....I did just replace the anti-syphon valve on it...do you think that could be the problem?

Thanks

It is very clear to me that the fuel pump on the motor is WORKING VERY WELL!!---------Since no fuel is coming to the motor the bulb collapses due to a restriction.---------------So if you want to test this theory then run the motor of a known good 5 gallon tank !

Are you sure the new anti-syphon is good ? Knock the guts out of the old one, reinstall it and see what happens.
