when changing a 9.9 to a 15hp

when changing a 9.9 to a 15hp do i have to change much more than the carb and exhast . And about how much should i expect to spend on parts?

A few years ago we priced parts at about $650.00. I can't remember what all that included.

So you have to ask yourself, how much are you willing to pay for a mile per hour? 200-300 bucks each?

And I am serious. I have done numerous performance comparisons between 9.9/15 horse and to a lesser extent 6/8/9.9 horse.

You may think that increasing your horsepower by 50 percent will make a noticable difference, but that is not the case - with one exception - you do notice that it sure seems to burn more gas..."
