1996 Johnson 130

I have a 1996 Johnson 130 that runs great, my issue is the tale-tell. As in—there’s not one, or very little of one. I’ve had the boat 2 years with steady use and it never has run hot. The mechanic that has worked on the boat for years says there’s nothing to worry about. I think there should be a steady stream under power. Could the line be clogged? Any ideas? Like I said, the engine runs great and overheating is not an issue—thanks!

Tell tale hose or fitting is likely plugged.-----But outboards need a new impeller about every 4/5 years.

Thank you for your timely reply. The impeller was replaced shortly before we purchased the boat, an Aquasport 196, but I may replace it just to be safe. In the mean time, I’ll run the hose down—thanks!
