"Model # J130TLEDM I just purc

"Model # J130TLEDM I just purchased this boat and i do have good spark on 1 cylinder.I have purchase the repair manual and i need to purchase some testers to hopefully find the problem.Any advice would be much appriciated. My first thought was that the blk/yl kill wire was the problem but i have ruled that out because i do have some spark.I did disconnect that wire (blk/yl) in the power pack its self.I have loosend the powerpack in order to move around the 1 good coil wire (orange)to test the other coils. They are all working. Then sometimes i have spark on other cylinders with their correct orange wire attatched to the their coil.!!?? I checked all wiring for shorts and im not finding anything.I also checked all fuses as well with no bad results.Does this sound like a typical problem of the timer base, rectefier, power pack?? Im a little confused if i have the 90 or 60 degree.Im using manual troubleshooting section for the 90 degree. With the way that sometimes it sparks and sometimes it does not im going crazy trying to figure it out.It does have new plugs and wires. It did run fine last trip out last fall."

"It very well could be the pac

"It very well could be the pack, before you buy check and test both the Stator and the Pack . Its in your manual.
Take a flashlight and look under your flywheel see if any cracks on the Stator or extra melting going on. One can guess from where I am and say the Pack is bad but why guess when you can test and save money ?"
