Hello all! I am putting together a down east skiff with the above power. Recently fired it up and ran for about 5 mins. Heads never really got above 100 degrees. Pulled the stats, found one diaphragm with a small rip. installed new stats and diaphragms , cleand up springs and retainers. Ran it again for 5 mins and same thing. Pulled it back apart and noticed little dimples in the backside of the t stat covers where the tip of the stat rests, almost looked like the covers were corroded in that spot. Are those "dimples" supposed to be there and could this be my problem? Thanks for helping out in advance.
