1996 Johnson 115 Fast Strike

Hello Everyone,

I am having problems with my engine. Idles fine but when you take off it bogs down. I can push the choke in when taking off and it will run fine. As soon as I stop choking it, it starts to bog down again. Model #J115GLEDC. Any suggestions?

Time to do the carbs and check the rest of your fuel system.

Be sure to check the high speed jets for being clean.
