I took my boat in last spring for tune up/service. Got it back and went fishing at 8000 feet elevation like I have many times before. Motor won't run. I think it just needs to be leaned out but can't get it to run. I take it back to mechanic who checks it over, readjusts carbs ( 300 feet elevation)and I go fishing again. Same thing. I asked the mechanic what he's changed and he tells me he replaced the electric fuel pump with a mechanical pump as the old one was leaking and the mechanical pump was much cheaper and works the same. All I know is that the motor ran at altitude before with no adjustments and now it won't run up there at all. It does run good at the lower elevation. Any responses?
