1996 5.7L 2 barrel carb 210 hp Does it have vottec heads?

Hi Im new to this forum.I have a 1996 5.7L 2 barrel carb 210 hp motor serial #OF773923.This motor has flat lifters.Dose any body know if it has vortec heads on it?Its a mercruiser.Thanks

Judging by your serial number your engine appears not to be GEN + (vortec heads).​

IDENTIFICATION OF GEN + CYLINDER HEADS
The Gen + cylinder head has four 5/16 inch x 18 intake
bolts verus six 3/8 x 16 bolts on cylinder head
prior to Gen +. There is not a provision for water​

crossover in the center of the head.

Another way to tell is if everything is still stock, Look at the spark plug tune up specifications sticker on the flame arrestor. If it has Spark Plug Type AC - MR43LTS / Champion - RS12YC / NGK - BPR6EFS
Spark Plug Gap .045 In. (1.1 mm) Then It will be a (Gen + Engine).

If the flame arrestor said Spark Plug Type AC - MR43T/Champion - RV15YC4/NGK - BR6FS
Spark Plug Gap .035 In. (0.9 mm) then it is a non Gen +.

And of course look at the part number on the spark plug itself to compare.

FYI, Your MCM 5.7L Alpha Propshaft Rating HP is 235 hp according to the service manual.

If the intake manifold bolts are vertical (Go straight down into the head) it's a vortec. If the are at am angle, it is not a vortec.
