I have a rebult 4.3 Vortec that has a leaky oilpan gasket,I replaced the gasket in the boat and it still leaks. my question is when i am reinstalling the engine do I need to pull the out drive, it is a volvo penta dp to line up the shaft? Their is plenty of space around the engine to install it without going back in at an angle.I am just going to pull the engine and do it right.
