"My engine has 384 hrs. Just replaced the TPS and took the boat out fishing. Runs/starts fine...from idle to 2000 rpm and from 3000 up you can set the throttle and it stays right where you set it. However, when I was trolling and set it at say, 2200 rpms....the engine would raise up to 3000 rpm, then settle back to 1800, then back up, etc....it wasn't slow or fast....but over 10-20 seconds it would do it. Its a real nuisance and I figure I have something out of adjustment with the new TPS that's throwing the ECM for a loop?"
