1996 135 V6 leeks lower unit oil

My 96 135 just started leeking

My 96 135 just started leeking oil from the starboard vent hole. The vent holes on top of the lower unit. there are two on that side of the lower unit. One on the port side is dry.
I ordered an impeller kit and a lower unit seal kit. will that do the job.

"vent hole, is that the water intake? This oil could just be un-burnt fuel/exhaust. It would be normal for some black stuff to drip from the prop if the engine was down. Does it smell like rotton eggs(gear oil)?"

"bummer, check the seal under the shift shaft after you put the water pump kit in. Might be worth having it pressure tested after you're done. You ordered all the parts"
