In the front of the engine were the lower unit meets the mid section there is a hole and when I trimed my motor up to put on my transom saver some water came out of the hole is this normal. The motor had been sitting about five days since the last time I took it out.

"If you're speaking of the hole at the joint surface of the lower unit, that is a normal water drain. Without it, in area where freezing takes place, the unit would crack.
