New to the site, hello to everyone.

Recently purchased a 1995 Hurricane deckboat with 1995 Merc 2.0 150hp engine. Boat and motor in good shape other than this motor issue I've tried to resolve. History: the boat sit for a year with gas in it without being run.

Symtoms:
- Runs well getting out of the hole and on top end
- After running and sitting when I fire it off it appears that the carbs are overloading
- Completely bogs out in reverse and turns off after running and sitting
- After running for say 30 minutes and beaching for the kids to swim and sitting for about an hour the overload issue is more prevalent, once I do get it going I have to leave it in neutral and rev the engine to burn off some gas

Whats been done:
- I've carried it to 2 local reputable dealers and they say they can't find anything wrong with it but they've done the following
- carbs and fuel pump have been rebuilt
- spark plugs replaced
- 3 tanks of non-ethanol gas run through it with Merc fuel treatment added

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
