1995 mariner 75 hp. Having miss issues.

I have a question. There’s a vacuum line that fits into y connector that goes to the fuel pump and then there’s another line that goes into the bottom air box. That component where those two lines come out of I can’t find the name or part # anywhere. the previous owner by passed that because mine is missing those two lines bypassing that component completely. I tighten all the other vacuum lines and it ran better cause one was broken at the nipple and I repaired it and it ran better. but I still have a miss, especially at full throttle. It acts likes it wants to run wide open but I’m having that miss and sputter that won’t allow to reach max rpm. I’m pulling my hair out. One mechanics friend told me it was reeds but another mechanic told me if it was, it would miss all the time. I’m guessing it could be clogged jets as well idk? The thing is it starts like a dream. Barely turn it over and it starts right up!! But I’m thinking I’m having a vacuum leak somewhere and where those two lines are missing I’m thinking that could be my problem idk?

I just found that part using google lens. It’s the oil pump. It has been bypassed altogether. I guessing that’s my problem???
