factory manual # is 503149 on this site. look on top of this page & click repair manuals, it will guide you thru to the one you need for repair(service manual) . there may be aftermarket mans. that are cheaper but the fac. manual gives much better instructions & is much more detailed. $50. is a very cheap investment in your motor. The fuel pump is a 2 part pump. one side pumps fuel up from the tank, the other side pumps oil up from the oil resevoir, mixing the two togather then pushing the mix to the carbs. Be sure to look on the port side ( left) of the motor facing it from the rear, if you follow the fuel line up you will see a round thing attached to the side of the motor. that is the vro. on the bottom rear there should be a peice of rubber hose that is in some way plugged. that will be the oil side of the pump. verify it is plugged before adding oil to the gas when filling. If so then apparently they disconnected the oil side of the vro pump. the fuel side will continue to work. just be sure to add 2 cycle oil to the gas when you fill up with gas. 16 oz. 2-cycle oil to 6 gals. of gas I think is the right mix for your motor. It is also possible they replaced the vro with just a single stage fuel pump of some sort. that is ok, also. a new vro pump is $ 438. new on this site, if you want to go back to original equip.
