1995 Johnson 200 Venom no spark

Hello folks! Need some help here. My outboard does not have spark. I put a new CDI in it with no avail. I noticed on the too of the engine(under the stator), what looks like melted rubber(see pics). I removed the stator and tested ohms between the yellow wires, which was .5 ohms. I also tested between the orange and orange/black wires and did not get any reading whatsoever. Also seen what looks to be a burnt magnet/pickup which the orange wires connect to(see pic). I do not own a DVA setup, so testing it while in the engine is not an option. I assume the stator is bad, but came here to get folks suggestions and input on the matter. Thank you all in advance!
