1995 Johnson 115 idle setting.

The motor seems to idle at about 1100 on the muffs when quick start is on. After the quick start turns off the idle drops back to about 700 on the muffs. Do you guys think this will be enough idle to stay running when the boat is in the water

the key is will it still run at 700 in the water?....if it does you are probably ok...

Put it in the water, drop it in gear and see what happens. That's the true test.
