1995 Evinrude 48 not charging

Another thing to do is check CDI electronics.com. They may have some info on how to do it but you still need the meter.

check the stator coils with an ohmeter if you like. ---------------------But it is likely the rectifier that is no good, not that expensive either.

looks like it is the rectifier. The parts manual says part # 0585035 but I can't seem to find that anywhere else. Is there a cross reference chart somewhere that could help me find compatible part?

I put a new rectifier in and I am only getting 13.14 volts at about 4000 rpms. Is that right? I know these motors don't put much out but it seems like it could be higher.
