1995 50hp mariner misfire

50hp mariner misfiring at higher rpm . Idles fine any ideas . Thanks !

Idles fine

It may seem that way. Check the condition of the spark plugs...you want to see medium brown color. Check each plug wire for a loud snapping blue spark that jumps 7/16". Dirty carb high speed jet can make it miss along w/bad gas...old fuel or water contaminated. Fouled spark plugs, plug fuel filter, etc.
