So I recently replaced my impeller and seems like just after that I am getting water in my ENGINE oil. Could I have damaged anything while putting lower unit back together. The impeller gasket was slightly ripped also not sure if water getting out the impeller housing could make its way to the engine oil.

About 10 minutes of running with fresh oil and the reservoir was very very high.

Are you sure it's water & not fuel? Water will creat a milkshake look. Oil will appear as high normal looking oil & smell like gas.
If gas, fuel pump is leaking running into valve cover area.

Well turns out to be gas in my oil like you have said. My fuel pump seems to check out tho no leaks coming from it. Thinking of changing it anyway to see. Any other causes of this much gas getting into my oil. Thank you.
