Couple things
1 this outboard was rebuild and was running fine but rough idle. The guy that owned it said he pulled carbs to clean them. After he put carbs back on, now it only will fire up for 2 seconds and dies.
I was told to rebuild the fuel pump and if that doesn’t work rebuild the carbs.
Does this sound right?
2. I noticed there is two carbs that have adjustable screws on top of carbs and two that are not adjustable.
Does the carbs go to specific cylinders?
I’m wondering if the guy put them on the wrong cylinders?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
