"I found loose and broken flywheel magnets in both engines, can I reinstall the magnets, I can make one good one from the two and would need to buy only one, if so how do I go about doing it ? is the magnet orientation critical. Joe"

"magnets need to be where they were...i think,the v6 ones are 5/16" between ea one,i'm not at my shop today,so i cant look it up for u,...u can contact cdi ignitions or 'RAPAIR.com'.
CK THE TIMER RING,IN THE CTR OF FLYWHEEL,my 97 200 was spinning like a top when warm,..bout dr me and the guys crazy tring to find the bog prob after running a while."
 
u can use an epoxy like jw wel

u can use an epoxy like jw weld..the indexing of the timer ring is absolute critical..cdi also has a guide for re-indexing it.

"I repaired both flywheel's and the port engine runs fine. the starbord engine will not start, I replaced the power pack and still no spark, I tested the stator charging coil output and it's putting out 120 volts, I disconnected the stop circuts and still no spark. any other suggestion would be appreciated.
