"I replaced my stator and now the boat will start but will not idle longer than a few seconds to a couple minutes at most. This boat has not been in the water in 2 years. Hoping it was bad gas, I bought a new gas tank and put new gas in it. It ran about the same amount of time with the new gas as it did with the old gas. What do you think it could be now? If you say the carbs may be sticking, what do you do to fix that problem? Could it be the float associated with the carbs?"
