I have a 1994 Mariner 25 tiller handle that I just inherited. I couldn't get it to spark so I brought it to my local repair guy. He called today that the power pack is the issue. Mercury no longer manufactures them apparently, and the best aftermarket one he could find cost $415 for the part alone. Has anyone run into the similar issue? If so, were you able to find a reasonable part to replace the original?
