1994 Johnson 50HP Trim Issue

I have a 1994 Jon boat with a 50hp Johnson on it. I just bought it and everything was working good on it until i noticed the tilt was leaking down. I have already drained the fluid out of it and filled it back up. I have done everything I can think of to bleed the air out and it still will not trim up. The trim motor runs just fine and it trims down but it will start ti trim up but stops. can anyone help me with this.

theres a pressure release, make sure that is tight.

Can you tell me the proper way to fill and bleed the air out of the trim actuator.

Raise the motor to the full tilt position and then top off the fluid. And then cycle it up and down 10 times and recheck the fluid level.

Ok I have filled up the actuator and let it free fall down then I have raised it back up again manually. So I should do this like 10 times and then check the fluid level and I assume add more if needed and the start over again.

Will the tilt motor raise it up now ??

The problem was a blown seal on the manual release valve. Replaced seal serviced now works fine.
