my alarm beeps constantly. new water pump, and thermostat, oil reservoir is full plus i unpluged the blue wires on the oil sensor and had no continuety so i believe that is ok. i disconnected all the wires going to a plastic connedtion on the block, and the alarm stopped beeping. i then touched different wires together to see which would make the alarm sound again. when i touched a blue/brown wire to ground the alarm went off again. that wire goes into the ignition switch. could my switch be bad, or shorted, or is it my temp sensor? i have read that the temp sensor goes bad often, but i'm wondering why the alarm goes off when the wires are disconnected. any help would be appreciated.

If you get a constant beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep that is either the temp sensor, or the wire leading to the temp sensor.

If you get a beep beep beep beep, that is either the oil level sensor OR the low oil warning module.

The module itself is just a kinda switch that makes it go beep beep beep, instead of beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

So you are getting a "constant" beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep???
