In August of 2015 I made a 17mile runto a popular Perch fishing area. On the way down the lake the Motor ran finelike always. After ready to leave our 1st fishing spot the Motor didn't want tostart. We could smell gas so we waited a few minutes and then it started buthad to keep the RPM's up to keep it running and put it in gear. At the next 2fishing spots it was the same thing, but did not smell any gas. We ran the17miles back to home Port and Motor purred like a kitten like always. When wegot back to the Marina we had to wait for a Boat to get out at the Ramp. TheMotor conked out in idle. We paddled into the dock and a few days later Ireplaced the Plugs and Fuel Filter. After hooking it up with the Rabbit earsfor water it fired up but with the same problem of not idling but runs with theRPM's up.
Please advise if this could be a Coil Problem. The Motor is a 1994 90HPEvinrude E90TLERC
