1994 50 hp evinrude

I've got a 50 hp evinrude that has no spark. checked all connections still nothing. go back an hour later and fires right off. done this twice this year. Any ideas?!

It is worth checking condition of battery / starter motor. ------------Cranking speed that is slow or marginal leads to a no spark condition and can be difficult to diagnose.-----------Excessive cranking quickly leads to starter motor damage, they just are not able to take it.
