Hi guys, I tried reading through all posts to find a solution, but I can’t seem to find one. I have a 94 to 98 mercury 90 hp. I have no spark. I disconnected black yellow, still no spark. When I disconnect the blue and red, ant test for resistance I get a constant 1. When I test red to ground I get 32.3 ohms. If I understand correctly both of these readings are “bad” or “failed” readings meaning I need a new stator and rectifier. Am I correct in this thinking or is there something else I need to check first. The closest legit boat shop that will work on this motor is a 4.5 hour drive for me so I would like to try and solve this myself.
