The top cylinder on my 1993 Yamaha Pro 50 has no spark. I have tested the ignition coil by swapping the #2 coil with the #1 coil and the problem stays with the Number 1 cylinder... swapping it eliminated the coil as being bad. Ive checked continuity between the CDI box and the coil, but dont know what the resistance should be. Since its only one cylinder not firing, would that point to the CDI? is there an easy way to test it?
