I am having issue with my boat not even trying to ignite. I'll turn my key and nothing.. Usually when I first launch it, I don't have the issue and it turns over just fine. It's when I am on the water and try to power up again. What's worked for me as to getting it to work has been unplugging the spark plug caps and replugging them in making sure they are on there good. It seems like messing around with that works. My questions are below:
- Will check spark plugs and make sure they aren't wet? Could it be that I have too much oil in my gas mixture?
- Is my ignition switch starting to go bad? Why would it work sometimes and not the other, and then work again?
- I am running a deep cycle battery and maybe it's not providing enough juice to start?
Any thoughts or trouble shooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
