The warning alarm on my 1993 Mercury 115 hp outboard is sounding continuously when the ignition is on. I have replaced the overhead sending unit in the head. I have also replaced the oil warning control unit on the lower side of the motor. The alarm is still on all the time with a solid warning indicating overheating. It is not, however, with water running through and feeling just cool to warm. Is there a separate alarm warning control unit and if so, where is it located? Any other ideas of what the problem might be? Thanks!
