"I have a '93 merc 200, 2 batteries with switch, lots of pumps and electronics. The engine charges great, 14.5 to 15 VDC, when we first leave the dock. After what seems long enough for the batteries to top off, the regulator jumps voltage to 18+vdc and my GPS and Radio auto shut down. Tach is always erratic now but worked when I first installed this motor as a used motor. Any ideas before I shell out $200 for regulators?"
