1993 johnson 115 check valve help

Model number j115tlets: can anyone help me with what to connect the check valves on the intake manifold to, and whether or not the bypass covers should have nipples on them for a hose or not? I have just rebuilt one and cant find information on the recirculation system anywhere, and the information on the bypass covers also teems to be tabooed. I have concluded that the top two bypass covers on each side are supposed to have nipples for hoses, but do these connect to the primer solenoid for choke or what?

Your best bet is to get the original factory service manual.
It will have all the info you need.

The nipples on the covers connect to the recirc valves on the intake. It should be in the hose routing diagram for either the carb section or the powerhead section.

The only place I've ever found these is in the OEM factory service manual.
