I have a 1993 Four Winns equipped with a Ford 302 multi port injected engine and OMC Cobra stern drive. Boat has been in storage for about 5 years but was winterized when it went into storage. I removed all the old fuel from the gas tank and replaced the fuel filter. Added 10 gals of fresh fuel. Tried starting the engine but it won't start. I know the electric fuel pump is operating. Disconnected the discharge side of the pump and it seems to be working OK when I turned the key on. I squirted a small amount of fuel into the air intake at the mass air flow sensor. Cranked the engine over and it started but only for a very short time which tells me the ignition is working to some degree. Pulled a couple spark plugs and they looked ok as well as the inside of the distributor cap. Not sure if there is anything else I can check before hauling it over to a boat shop to have it checked out. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks.
