1- Ru

"Couple of questions.
1- Running the engine in the driveway with the muffs on, should I see water coming out of the " pee" port? ( I did not )

2- The BEEP of "I'm getting Hot" sounded , I used my heat gun and discoveered that the Port side was actually hot. A While back I replaced the diverters ( 3/8" hose) and it cleared up the problem. So can someone please tell me why we have them, and why thermostats are important. and why I don't just take these blockages out of the way, and stop fighting them. (I live where the water is warm.)

2.thermos ,are important for regulating the engine temps,for proper fuel/oil burning,and for engine longevity.
3.squeeze the muffs together,trying to get as tight a seal as possible on lower unit.
4.always,turn wtr on fully.
5..pee hose?...i assume...yes u should see wtr out of it.,anytime,anywhere,eng is running."

"well she's at the Boat Dr. now having a new water Pump kit installed, diverters, and getting a bill of health check up. Which includes installing a test prop and running it in the Tank.
