1993 200hp xp stalls

I have a 200 hp xp. 1993. It runs great, but wants to stall when you start it warm. It will start fine but when you put in reverse and back to neutral it stalls. It will also bog and quit when you hit the gas after starting. If I run it around the lake and put it in neutral it idles perfect. Just put a new power pack in last fall. Is there a slow speed adjustment? Seems like it is rich at idle? Thanks for your help.

have you tried hitting the choke one or two times to keep it from bogging on take off? let us know what that does.
