1993 200 HP Marinier

I made 10 minute run yesterday at about 5000 rpm. When I went to turn into a cove I had to come out of my throttle and my when I went to push my the throttle all my engine did was girgle kind of, it would never get above and idle. I can put my boat into neutral and can rev my engine up find but when I put it in gear no response. Any suggestions? I know very little about these engines.

sounds like your idle jets might be blocked. Try running some carb cleaner through. Worked with mine.f that doesn't work might be time for carb rebuild.
