1993 200 GT Venom "cold" issue

Hi All,

I just started having an issue with my engine. When it's cold, it runs very rich and barely idles. If I try to put it in gear it just dies. I just recently noticed that if I leave the high idle lever up and let it "run" for a bit, it will eventually clear up. It's like a switch is flipped and it runs fine after that. The colder it is, the longer it takes. compression is fine, new plugs, wires etc. It has me stumped. But again, once it seems warmed up, runs perfect. In the past when it was cold it idled a little high until it warmed up. Is there a "cold" circuit or something?

Thanks for any info.

Your fast start system is not being engaged,go to cdi electronics.com for troubleshooting

Hello,

I went to the site and did a lot of reading. I bought a power pack but that didn't fix the issue. It's still running way to rich. I also tested the quick start and it seems to be working fine also. Here's a video I took. The first part of the video I have the fast idle lever raised. Towards the end I lower it to "idle".

Any help would be great!
