1993 20 hp johnson

I just wondering if i can upgrade 1993 johnson 20 hp to 25 hp? only change intake and carb?

Just check differences in parts (part numbers) on Johnson WEB EPC.

Understand that in 1993 were 2 different 20 hp models, the normal 20, and the 20GT (has already a 25 carb and intake, only a restrictor)

The 20GT is having a model number 20S (J20SR or J20SEL)
