"The boat began to surge a bit after several hours of running. Brought it straight back to the dock and never really did anything. The next time I launched, the water was not flowing through the cowling. The heat alarm did go off and I shut it down. After changing the impeller she was not running good. Very rough idle and would stall more than run. At this point I drained the fuel tank, went in with new gas. After changing all filters and purging the system it seems to rum better (not good) when the microcomputer is disconnected? The RPM's are just not there. Almost as if it were either starving or flooding?"
