"1992 yamaha 200 outboard,no problem cranking it up and run in water and come back from fishing trip,but i unplug one #4 cylinder ,it does not chang running,i think i am running 5 cylinder at whole time,compression test 1-3-5 110,2-4-6 115,orange spark from all six cylinder,i will check gas go to that #4 cylinder or not next,if it does,what i need to look next,have gas,good compression,all cylinder got spark,stator?cd?need good advices,thanks."

"You should check the carbies for dirt, this is a common problem with these engines, remove them and give them a good clean out. make sure you remove all the jets and screws. re set the sync and mixtures etc."

It appears that this is a long struggle to get it fixed.Since Jan 4 maybe Much advice has been offered and what are the results of the testing that you have done per the advice given.

"alaska bob,,i have dont few thing,check all cylinder have spark,they do,check compression,all good,check ignition core and spark plugs,they all good,and thanks all for the help,have not get the time check any fuel go to that cylinder yet,i am working out of town now,will post result when i get to it,and will clean carb also."

you need a kv meter
if you got over 100v going into the coils, and the ohms are within spec your fine

it is really hard to read what u r saying try using different paragraphs

pulling a wire is not the smartest thing to do
the volts have to go somewhere, and your cdi is the closest spot"
