I'm in the process of servicing my backup engine and am cleaning the fuel lines and carburetor of old fuel. When I removed the carburetor the needle valve came out. I'm trying to reinsert it into the needle valve seat and noticed it could go back in either direction. The valve itself has a pointed end and a sort of button end that has a spring-loaded button. Can someone tell me which direction goes into the seat first?
