"I just bought this boat with a 40HP mariner
tiller with electric start. When the motor gets
hot after going approx 2 mile up the lake the motor just cuts out. There is no misfire felt, just a little lack of power then complete shut down. The motor will restart right away. I changed the hose from the tank to the motor, still the same. I tried to duplicate it at the dock but could not. It only seems to fail at wide open throttle. The primer ball stays hard also. Help Please"
