1992 Johnson 50 hp charging wire ?

Hi ! Greetings from Northeastern Québec. I have purchased a 1992 Johnson 50 hp, complete with control and all wired up. Everything runs just fine. My question is : are those 2 heavy gauge wires going to the start battery ALSO used to recharge battery or is there a missing positive wire that needs to be added ? I have not used it long enough to check battery. Not taking any chances, as the St-Lawrence is unforgiving up here. Thanks for your time.

No need to add wire,one big red and one big black.

Thx. Great news ! All set to go after 3 yrs. Old tender, probably. 50 ish. New cabin. Old gas Volvo gone, and no more leaks, finally. Will try to include pic.
