1992 EVINRUDE 60 OPEN INJECTER HOSE

I removed the oil injector tank, and I am premixing my oil and gas. But I have the hose that goes from the tank to the motor open. If I block it, the alarm goes off. I don't know if it affects how it runs with the hose open. Any suggestions.

Unplug the connector to the VRO pump.
