Hi my engine wont wind over fast enough for a compression test, i have put power straight to the starter which is good cause i tested on my other motor, and ground motor straight to the battery which is also good cause i use it on my other motor but still winds over slow with compression tester in, if i wind over with nothing in spark plug holes it goes a lither bit fatster but its still slow any information??

How did the motor run for you last season?----Perhaps a lower unit issue ( binding ) , so remove it and test.----Perhaps bearings on powerhead are junk.

Never had i running picked it up for free took lower unit off last night one compression test got to 75 psi but i think battery was dead so check this morning sometime

Only check one cylinder lastnight

Head gasket is cheap.-----Remove cylinder head and inspect in there.
