"I have a 1992 evinrude 8hp outboard, I am having
problems fouling plugs just after a 30 minute run.
My bottom plug fouls out constsntly. After my last run I noticed some oil around the carbuerator. Today I will inspect and change the fuell filter. Any suggestions after that?????

Fouled plug or not enough spar

Fouled plug or not enough spark??? Do a spark check on the bottom cylinder.The spark must jump a gap of 7/16" or better.Thermostat installed and working properly???Fuel pump diaphragm OK as in does the primer bulb go hard when you pump it???
